About auri studio
auri studio was born out of a deeply personal journey: my own path back to myself. It wasn’t a single breakthrough or one moment of clarity that guided me home, but a wild mix of experiences and practices that gently untangled the knot I felt inside.
For a long time, I couldn’t make sense of what I was feeling or what was going on inside me. It was like moving through a fog I couldn’t quite put into words. What helped was talking: naming emotions, analysing thoughts, noticing patterns. Not just to explain them to others, but to actually hear myself, and to finally be honest with myself. That was the first step. And the second. And the third.
Over time, I realised that words alone weren’t enough. My body carried tension, restlessness, and emotions that needed a way out. Movement, letting myself sway, shake, stretch, and simply feel, became a powerful part of the process. It was like my body held the key, giving my emotions the space to move and be expressed.
auri studio is a reflection of that journey: a gentle guidance to help others reconnect with their inner experience, through both emotional expression and the body’s natural wisdom. It’s a safe harbour for those who feel lost or stuck, offering tools, support, and compassion to rediscover their strength and agency.
The name “auri” carries layers of meaning. Literally, it combines pieces of my own names, but it also reflects a deeper intention: helping others discover their own inner light and strength, the parts of themselves that guide them home.
The person behind auri studio
My name is Flori. I grew up in Romania and later made a home in the Netherlands, so I know what it is to navigate life between cultures — learning to carry the richness of my roots while adapting to new ways of being. Growing up in Romania taught me resilience, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for subtle human connection. It also shaped how I see the world: we are a mix of nature and nurture, of inherited patterns and lived experiences. Some of those patterns lift us up, others weigh us down — and noticing which is which is the first step to moving with more ease.
Along the way, I’ve learned to notice how emotions live in the body, how tension shows up when I ignore what I need, and how small, mindful shifts can actually make a difference. I bring that into my practice, sharing what I’ve tried on myself and embodying the things I work through. My sessions mix compassionate, non-clinical emotional support with movement and body-based exploration, creating a space for anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or a bit disconnected from themselves. I’m not a clinical therapist — I’m more like a guide, a companion helping you find your way back to yourself.
Because no one is broken. We’re just sometimes out of sync with our own rhythm. auri studio stands for empowerment, self-awareness, and the courage to embrace the full, messy beauty of being human.
